Our story

Four decades on the pitch.
One winter problem.

40years of WWS

For nearly 40 years, Western Wisconsin Soccer has put kids, families, and athletes on the field — a community 501(c)(3) that has served 50,000+ people and coaches 2,157 today.

But every November it ends the same way: the snow comes, the fields close, and our athletes drive across the river or give up their sport for five months. Western Wisconsin has no year-round indoor recreation space of its own.

The Recreation Center is the next chapter in that mission — a year-round space for every age and ability, built by this community, for this community. This is the moment, and we're asking you to help build it.

The vision

Not just soccer.
Everyone, all year.

A full-size air-supported dome in Hudson, WI with turf fields, courts, and a welcome center — programmed for the whole community, seven days a week.

Children & families

Youth leagues, camps, and Tumble Time — a place for young families to get out of the house all winter.

Seniors

A warm indoor walking track and daytime programming that keeps older adults active through five months of snow.

Schools

PE classes, practice space, and field trips for districts across the region — indoors, any season.

Adaptive recreation

Inclusive programming so every ability can take part — including daytime space with Bridge for Community Life.

Community organizations

Meeting rooms and event space for nonprofits, teams, and groups across the St. Croix Valley.

Local sports

Soccer, pickleball, softball, basketball, volleyball, and a golf simulator — year-round, whatever the weather.
